Addison Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Arlington, VA, to support payroll operations for 300+ employees in a fast-paced environment. This contract role (3 months) handles full-cycle payroll, year-end processing, and inquiries, with independent work and collaboration with accounting.

The ideal candidate will manage multi-state payroll via Paycom, bring strong reconciliation skills, and adapt to evolving requirements while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing bank reconciliations and benefit reconciliations.
• Knowledge of union payroll rules and compliance requirements.
• Ability to scrub and audit payroll reports for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state employee population in Paycom.
• Support payroll operations for ~300+ employees in the DMV.
• Review, audit, and scrub payroll-related reports for accuracy.
• Handle bank and account reconciliations.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
• Serve as point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations on payroll tasks.
• Provide year-end payroll support including W-2 preparation and reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable tasks when needed.
