Job summary

MeeBoss, a fast-growing startup in Bellevue, WA, is seeking sales and growth professionals for its Business Development team. This full-cycle BD role lets you source prospects and close deals yourself, with no handoff to an account executive, and requires onsite presence at our Bellevue office.

You will identify prospects, run discovery calls, perform product walkthroughs, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create targeted campaigns.

Qualifications

• B2B sales or SaaS experience is a plus, not required.
• Comfortable on the phone and with hearing no.
• Curious about why something works, rather than waiting for a script.
• Good with ambiguity, we’re early and things change.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage 150-200 new prospects a week without dropping follow-ups.
• Technical aptitude and an interest in technology solutions; prior experience with SaaS products is a plus.
• Self-starter mentality with a results-driven approach and a passion for growing new business.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective clients through market analysis, competitor research, and industry trends.
• Generate and qualify leads using outbound strategies, mainly through LinkedIn, supported by cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and networking at industry events.
• Run the full cycle: first contact, discovery, product walkthrough, close.
• Get new employers set up and posting, so their first experience is a good one.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at target companies.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to create and execute prospecting campaigns and strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead status, and client interactions within CRM systems.
• Stay up to date on product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients.
• Represent the company at local events, conferences, and meetups to expand our network within the local technology ecosystem.
