Job summary

Henderson Harbor Group is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to own the accounting, operations and admin processes. The role offers up to $100K in New Jersey, Wayne, with a focus on A/P, bank reconciliations, month-end close and 1099 filings.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 4 years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, and a strong eye for detail in a collaborative, balanced work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Excel and QuickBooks.
• 4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions and verify vendor bills
• Post bills into the system, track expenses and process expense reports
• Assist with check runs
• Prepare bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Assist with month-end closings
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Reconcile credit card accounts
• Assist with year-end tax returns preparations including 1099 filings.
• Maintain vendor files; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
