Job summary

Kenney Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking a dependable full-charge bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting, including AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end close, while supporting the CPA in year-end activities. You will ensure accurate job costing and maintain customer statements with professional communication on balances.

The role favors manufacturing experience and ERP familiarity (M1 by ECi, JobBOSS, E2).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping, AR and AP experience.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (M1 by ECi, JobBOSS, E2) is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and grasp of job costing and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts receivable cycle: invoicing, posting payments, and balance maintenance.
• Manage full accounts payable: vendor invoices, PO matching, and payment scheduling.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare journal entries and coordinate with CPA on year-end activities and tax filings.
• Support accurate job costing by allocating material costs and expenses to jobs.
