Job summary

Fabrication Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage A/R posting, customer payments, and reconciliation.

You will create detailed Excel spreadsheets for aging, contact customers to resolve billing issues, and ensure accurate posting of checks and credit card transactions. The role requires strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP), solid knowledge of double-entry accounting, and the ability to work independently within a team to maintain accurate financial records and respond

Qualifications

• Requires strong mathematical and logical deduction
• Proficient in Excel with advanced functions including VLOOKUP
• Demonstrated ability to research and analyze financial data
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting system
• Experience monitoring and managing aging accounts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow-up
• Superior time management and organizational skills
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments by recording checks and credit card transactions
• Contact customers to resolve deductions, short paid invoices and disputes
• Forward PODs and copies of invoices to customers as required
• Enter detailed notes in customer files for each contact
• Generate and forward AR statements upon request
• Make collection calls as needed
• Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheet of AR posting for specialized accounts
• Reconcile customer/vendor AR accounts
• Create invoices in Key Customer Account Portals
• Process bank deposits accurately and promptly
• Review and approve pending orders to ensure smooth processing
• Other duties as assigned by management
