Job summary

RRD in Orlando, FL is seeking a production supervisor to guide employees, audit processes, and ensure production specifications are met. You will maintain relationships, enforce policy, and coordinate with management on safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, approving samples, and supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives. The role requires basic tech skills, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Ability to apply policies and procedures consistently.
• May oversee junior staff and audit work for accuracy.
• Basic computer/office software proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication across departments.
• Good organization to meet deadlines and adapt to needs.
• Regularly lift up to 25, up to 50 lbs; up to 50 lbs rarely.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and audit work processes to meet specs.
• Maintain positive relationships and route policy questions to management.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and procedures are followed.
• Inspect products/shipments for conformance to specs.
• Review and approve production samples/shipments.
• Assist with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain records and compile routine reports.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with departments.
• Coordinate training for new employees and contractors.
