Job summary

Target is hiring a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader in Minnesota. This role focuses on delivering a consistent guest experience while leading a team of hourly associates and managing daily fulfillment tasks to meet delivery and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will guide staffing, coaching, and performance while upholding Target’s service and safety commitments in a fast-paced retail environment. Training and development are provided to build leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
• Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies.
• Planning department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals.
• Process improvements and workload efficiency.
• Leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Actively observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize great guest experience moments.
• Review fulfillment metrics to identify gaps, develop plans to resolve and align the team on execution.
• Lead and drive fulfillment goals, support sales growth and store profitability in collaboration with leadership.
• Oversee workload planning to ensure orders are fulfilled to meet delivery, freshness, and service standards.
• Ensure safety and compliance, and support merchandise protection strategies.
