Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an inbound, pick/pack, and outbound fulfillment team. You will drive lean improvements, ensure safety and quality targets, and partner with clients to achieve performance goals.

You will develop direct reports, manage shift planning, and oversee training, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or HS degree/GED required.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement ideologies; Six Sigma cert is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive operations management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise an operations team in inbound, pick/pack, and outbound shipments.
• Ensure safety, productivity, and adherence to client SLAs and quality targets.
• Develop direct reports and manage performance evaluations.
• Plan, prioritize, and communicate shift directives for efficiency and quality.
• Interact with clients on operational topics and manage lean improvements.
• Oversee quality assurance metrics, tools, and processes to meet goals.
• Drive continuous improvement culture within the value stream.
• Manage seasonal staffing relationships and budget for the value stream.
• Ensure SOPs are up to date and staff training is maintained.
