Job summary

Fortive in Pittsburgh is seeking a Fulfillment Supervisor to provide daily operational leadership across our high-mix, fast-paced service team. You will translate customer demand into executable daily plans, sustain Leader Standard Work, and develop frontline leaders and technicians.

You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory discipline, and productivity while partnering with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service to continuously improve end-to-end performance.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop teams in a service, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced operations environment.
• Demonstrated success driving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and employee engagement results.
• Ability to establish priorities, translate demand into an executable daily plan, and adjust quickly when conditions change.
• Strong performance-management capability, including expectation setting, feedback, recognition, development planning, and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change through collaboration, clear communication, and effective follow-through.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to contain issues, identify root causes, and sustain countermeasures.
• Ability to surface and resolve issues using a respectful, team-based approach that promotes trust, candor, and psychological safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational performance across assigned manufacturing operations.
• Establish staffing and work priorities, manage flow to customer demand, and deliver KPI performance.
• Lead a disciplined Daily Management process and sustain Leader Standard Work.
• Coach and develop Team Leaders, Lead Technicians, and Service Technicians.
• Recruit and onboard team members aligned with company values, monitor performance, and address concerns.
• Translate demand into labor and capacity requirements while protecting safety and quality.
• Ensure training plans, records, and certification requirements are current.
• Champion Fortive Business System and Lean conversion; lead kaizen activity to improve safety, quality, and delivery.
• Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and others to resolve constraints and improve performance.
• Communicate risks to customer commitments and coordinate recovery plans.
