Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates to join the operations team. Reporting to a Site Leader, OAs perform picking, packing, receiving product within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and collaborate with our partner drivers to keep orders moving.

You’ll handle inventory, ensure accurate counts, restock, and maintain clean, safe work areas. This role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 49 pounds, and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in restaurant or retail preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Proficient with basic web-based software (e.g. Google G-Suite).

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets, verify inventory against PO/invoice, resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility.
• Manage waste and spoilage per FIFO guidelines.
• Contact customer for substituted or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely and efficiently.
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts.
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product.
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
• Work in freezer locations periodically.
• Walk several flights of steps periodically.
• Prepare quality beverages and foods per recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverages packaged for delivery.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Receive and store orders, resolve discrepancies with expiration dates.
• Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and reduce waste through mindful pouring and prep.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
