Job summary

Babylist is seeking an Assistant Manager, Fulfillment Operations (Day Shift) for its Commercial Point, Ohio center. You will lead the floor across kitting, picking, packing, SLUs, and drivers, coach a 60+ member team, and own the rhythm of the day while onsite for shift handoffs.

You will drive process improvements, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety and compliance as part of a high-growth operation. The role includes day hours Monday–Thursday, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in a leadership role.
• 3+ years supervising teams in a warehouse environment.
• Floor-first leadership approach coordinating multiple workflows.
• Ability to implement efficient processes and optimize workflows.
• Experience coaching and mentoring a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse software and inventory control processes.
• Strong emphasis on safety and compliance with regulations.
• Effective cross-shift communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor across kitting, picking, packing, SLUs, and drivers on the day shift.
• Own shift handoffs onsite with gaining and losing shifts.
• Manage daily operations to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
• Develop the team through recruiting, training and mentoring.
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiency gains.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust operations to optimize performance.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure workplace.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and cross-functional partners.
