Job summary

Babylist is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Assistant Manager for Day Shift at our Commercial Point, Ohio fulfillment center. This hands-on leadership role owns kitting, picking, packing, SLUs, and drivers, directing the floor across all five workflows and coaching a 60+ person team.

Schedule Mon–Thu, core hours 7:00am–5:30pm, onsite handoff with both gaining and losing shifts. We offer competitive pay, safety-focused culture, and growth opportunities within a fast‑growing operation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 3 years managing or supervising warehouse teams.
• Ability to lead multiple active workflows on the floor.
• Strong process-orientation with focus on efficiency.
• Experience in fast-growing or startup-like environments is a plus.
• Skilled at coaching and developing team members.
• Safety and regulatory compliance emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor across kitting, picking, packing, SLUs, and drivers.
• Own shift handoff onsite with gaining and losing shifts.
• Manage daily operations to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Develop the team through recruitment, training, and mentorship.
• Identify improvements and implement solutions to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust the shift performance.
• Promote safety and maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and cross-functional partners.
