Job summary

Bunzl Groveport is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day fulfillment and distribution at the 500,000-square-foot Groveport facility, supporting over 100 teammates. You will ensure customer requirements are met safely, accurately, on time and within budget, partnering with the Warehouse Manager to guide front-line supervisors.

This role oversees scheduling, training, continuous improvement, and compliance with SLAs, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2pm to 11pm, in Groveport, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of management experience in warehousing, distribution, or production.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and modern distribution technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisors and associates to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Establish, monitor, and improve productivity, accuracy, quality, and customer service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, procedures, and management practices.
• Ensure safety training and partner with EHS to promote a strong safety culture.
• Develop supervisors and leads to coach, counsel, motivate, and manage employees effectively.
• Promote clear communication and teamwork; provide effective on-the-job training.
• Apply HR policies consistently, including attendance and corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor policies to support efficient processing and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
