Job summary

Socket.dev in Kent, WA is hiring for a Process Assistant who will support the Area Manager and assist in daily department duties. You will allocate labor, lead meetings, assign duties, and communicate with internal and external suppliers.

The role includes vacation coverage for Area Managers and ensuring SOP compliance across the floor. You will track labor hours, assist with training, and support safety initiatives while maintaining a clean, organized work area and contributing to production

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High school or equivalent.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Support and work in the department as required.
• Help manage daily department duties, including labor allocation, meetings, task assignment, and communication with internal/external suppliers.
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.
• Follow policies, track attendance, and ensure SOP compliance.
• Track ATS/labor hours and report findings.
• Assist floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance.
• Ensure area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance.
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives as needed.
• Fill in with production duties when required.
• Understand workflow and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOP as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized and address safety hazards.
• Coach associates to work safely at all times and participate in safety initiatives.
• Refer all job injuries to the area manager promptly.
