Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Process Assistant in San Diego, CA to support the Area Manager and oversee daily department duties. The role includes allocating labor, leading meetings, and coordinating with internal/external suppliers while ensuring safety and SOP compliance.

Responsibilities also include tracking labor hours, coaching associates, and maintaining daily production goals, with the flexibility to cover shifts and production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts (~12 hours).
• 40 hours/week with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Support and work in the department as required.
• Allocate labor, lead meetings, assign duties, and communicate with suppliers.
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers.
• Track ATS/labor hours and assist in safety initiatives.
• Coach associates to work safely and maintain SOP compliance.
• Review workflows, update SOPs, and support daily production goals.
