Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager for a Fulfillment Center, Las Vegas area. You will oversee budget, people development, and operational objectives, leading a team of Operations and Area Managers to meet performance targets and maintain strong employee relations.

You will drive Lean improvements, ensure safety and quality across Inbound or Outbound, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure resources and execute strategic initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Full staffing lifecycle experience including interviewing, hiring, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality initiatives and Lean projects to improve efficiency across the FC.
• Owns safety, quality, and customer experience for Inbound or Outbound operations.
• Sets expectations for Managers; measures performance and provides feedback.
• Drives ideas into improvement plans and ensures best practices are shared across departments.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and others to secure resources for initiatives.
