Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Melville, NY is seeking a Site Leader to oversee budget, people development and site operations. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach staff, and ensure performance objectives and customer experience are met.

Responsibilities include driving Lean initiatives, setting expectations, measuring performance, and securing cross-functional resources with HR, Finance, Safety and IT to enable project success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years direct management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution
• Experience with Lean techniques and process improvement
• Full staffing lifecycle experience (hiring, performance, promotions, termination)

Responsibilities

• Drive Lean initiatives to meet and exceed business plan
• Oversee safety, quality and customer experience for Inbound/Outbound operations
• Set expectations for Operations and Area Managers
• Measure performance and provide feedback to departments
• Leverage managers to generate improvement plans and share best practices
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and IT for resources
