CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities at a fulfillment center site in Kansas City. You will oversee reliability and maintenance engineering, partnering with the client’s leadership to deliver best-in-class maintenance.

The role requires guiding a local maintenance team, driving preventive maintenance programs, and managing budgets. CBRE emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a continuous improvement mindset in a dynamic distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture among CBRE employees and ensure a secure working environment.
• Provide subject matter expertise to maintenance of high-speed conveyance and robotic product movement systems.
• Provide formal supervision to employees within a single functional or operational area.
• Coach and mentor staff on CBRE’s preventive maintenance strategies, completing PM and PDM tasks daily and documenting corrective work.
• Direct the local team to meet targets for daily maintenance-related metrics.
• Oversee the execution of the maintenance-related budget for the fulfillment center.
• Approve staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination; escalate to management as needed.
• Plan staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
• Prepare and deliver performance appraisals and participate in investigations, audits, and assessments.
• Lead by example and model CBRE’s values while cultivating positive client and operations relationships.
