Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead technicians responsible for maintaining material handling equipment, industrial automation, and building systems in a 24/7 fulfillment environment.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance while partnering with site leadership. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and several years of maintenance and leadership experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing, plus 2 years of leadership.
Experience with CMMS, material handling equipment, integrated automation, and reading blueprints/schematics.
Strong problem-solving, project management, vendor management, and communication skills; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, schedule, and develop maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices and compliance.
Implement preventive maintenance programs, respond to equipment downtime, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Manage vendors, contractors, maintenance budgets, capital projects, and operational priorities.
Monitor reliability and productivity metrics, maintain work orders and asset records in a CMMS, and collaborate with Operations leadership.
