Job summary
URBN in Kansas City, KS is seeking a senior Maintenance Technician III to own advanced diagnostics and drive reliability improvements for automated equipment. You will mentor technicians, lead complex troubleshooting, and champion preventive maintenance across conveyors, ASRS, and packaging systems.
The role requires strong PLC, servo, and networking skills, plus experience leading cross-functional fixes and documenting work in the CMMS.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automated environments.
- Strong PLC, servo and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues across automation systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
- Own key systems; mentor technicians and lead RCA and reliability improvements.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Read electrical schematics and system documentation; coordinate with OEMs.
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support upgrades and capital projects.
