Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New Jersey seeks an Area Manager to lead a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates in a fast‑paced fulfillment environment. You will mentor, develop, and motivate your team while ensuring safety, quality and productivity on every shift.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires flexible shifts including nights and weekends. You will walk the floor, resolve issues, adjust staffing, and hand off clear priorities to the next shift.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (in progress ok).
• Strong communication skills.
• Enrolled in Supply Chain/Business/Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor regularly to stay connected and resolve issues.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance on shift.
• Oversee truck deliveries, pallet jack operations, and PIT equipment as needed.
• Shift patterns may include nights, weekends, and holidays with a 4‑on/3‑off rhythm.
• Close shift by reviewing performance data and handing off priorities to the next shift.
