Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Area Manager in Wisconsin to lead and develop a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. You will mentor, coach, and drive safety, quality and productivity while owning shift outcomes and operational metrics.

From staffing to floor leadership, you will manage daily priorities, support the team through hands-on guidance, and ensure high standards as orders move from inbound to customer doorstep.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing to regularly work shifts that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays; most sites use a 4-day work week.
