Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Wisconsin to lead a frontline team, coach hourly associates, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across shifts. You will guide performance, coordinate with Safety, HR, and Engineering, and implement continuous improvements to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and nights, the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and the stamina to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state driver's license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations outside loading)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (sites with stairs)
