Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Fueling Operations Support Manager to provide technical and customer support for fueling facilities across multiple industries.

The role involves taking ownership of complex repairs or replacements and leading by example in Ryder Fuel Service operations. The position requires strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to interact with contractors, engineers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five or more years of fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance experience.
• 1–3 years of direct customer-relationship-building experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel pivot tables and advanced features.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop custom solutions for customers (UST/AST alarm monitoring, ATG, interstitials, sensors, pumps, DEF, dispensers, piping).
• Ensure work order timelines and priorities are met with the work order system.
• Provide clear communications to customers, databases, and stakeholders.
• Establish processes to proactively prevent Notices of Violation and support environmental compliance.
• Review, approve repair quotes and support capital projects under guidance.
• Monitor and report on individual KPIs.
• Develop and implement policies/SOPs for stakeholders.
