Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueling Operations Support Manager to oversee technical and customer support for fueling facilities across multiple industries.

You will interact with Authorized Service Contractors, Environmental Engineers, internal teams, manufacturers, and facility customers to own and resolve complex assignments. Lead by example in Ryder Fuel Service operations, ensuring compliance, effective communication, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five (5) years or more fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance industry experience required.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in direct responsibility for customer relationship-building experience required.
• In-depth understanding of how to use language/communications to create and maintain positive customer experiences advanced required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, including Excel pivot tables advanced required.
• Fueling systems (UST/AST alarm monitoring, ATG, interstitial, Probes, sensors, spill buckets, sumps, STP, UDC, DEF, dispensers, piping) Downstream fueling systems and other systems as assigned advanced required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop custom solutions for customers.
• Ensure work order timelines and priorities are met using a work order management system.
• Provide clear, effective, and consistent communications/updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Establish processes and tools to proactively prevent Notices of Violation and ensure compliance schedules are met.
• Review repair quotes and support projects under guidance of environmental project Eng.
• Monitor and report on KPIs.
• Develop and implement policies/SOPs/BMPs for stakeholders.
