Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueling Operations Support Manager to provide technical and customer support for fueling facilities across industries.

The role leads by example in Ryder Fuel Service operations and focuses on maintaining compliance, repairs, and improvements. The position requires problem-solving, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders including ASC, Environmental Engineer, and facilities personnel.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five+ years fuel system/facility maintenance or environmental compliance experience.
• 1–3 years direct customer-relationship experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Excel pivot tables is highly required.
• Knowledge of fueling systems and downstream components.
• Ongoing training and certifications related to compliance or PM.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop customer solutions.
• Manage work orders, prioritizing service needs and timelines.
• Communicate updates clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Support compliance scheduling and issue escalation.
• Review/approve repair quotes and assist with capital projects.
• Run ad-hoc reports and build basic analytics from multiple systems.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to policy/procedure development.
