Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueling Operations Support Manager to provide technical and customer support for fueling facilities across multiple industries.

This role leads by example in Ryder Fuel Service operations, owning complex assignments and ensuring compliance and project execution. The position requires strong problem solving, communications, and leadership skills, with extensive experience in fueling systems and MS Office, including Excel.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five (5) years or more fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance industry experience required.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in direct responsibility for customer relationship-building experience required.
• In-depth understanding of how to use language/communications to create and maintain positive customer experiences advanced required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office environment, including Excel pivot tables advanced required.
• Fueling systems (UST/AST alarm monitoring, ATG, interstitial, Probes, sensors, spill buckets, sumps, STP, UDC, DEF, dispensers, piping) downstream fueling systems and other systems as assigned advanced required.
• Obtain knowledge, continuous training, and/or maintain 2 to 3 relevant certifications (compliance-related, ICC, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop custom solutions for customers.
• Prioritize work orders and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
• Provide clear communications to customers, databases, and stakeholders.
• Establish processes and tools to proactively prevent Notices of Violation and ensure compliance schedules.
• Review and approve repair quotes; support constructions/capital projects.
• Monitor and report KPIs.
• Develop and implement policies/SOPs/BMPs for internal/external stakeholders.
• Travel: 1-10% and potential to work remotely as needed.
