Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueling Operations Support Manager to provide technical and customer support for fueling facilities across multiple industries. Responsibilities include troubleshooting fueling systems, managing work orders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will interact with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues and drive projects to completion. The role emphasizes proactive communication, data-driven reporting, and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Five+ years of fuel system and/or facility maintenance management and/or environmental compliance industry experience required.
• 1–3 years of customer relationship-building experience required.
• Advanced communication skills for positive customer experiences.
• Proficient in Excel pivot tables and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot fueling systems to develop custom solutions for customers, owning repair or replacement actions.
• Ensure work order timelines and priorities are met using the work order management system.
• Provide clear communications and updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Establish processes to proactively prevent Notices of Violation and ensure compliance schedules are met.
• Review and approve repair quotes; support projects with environmental engineers; generate ad-hoc and standard reports from multiple systems.
