We seek an experienced engineer to determine approaches for resolving difficult engineering problems and to coordinate project segments with customers and regulatory agencies. Under general supervision, you will document findings, present results, and lead a team of engineers on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Progressive engineering experience as described (four+ years with a Bachelor's or two+ years with a Master's).
• Strong ability to develop and communicate new engineering concepts; adapt in evolving environments.
• DoD security clearance eligibility is required; PE license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, integration and test of an aircraft fuel system.
• Develops innovative but practical solutions to advanced technical problems in engineering.
• Acts as principal technical contact to customers and government/regulatory agencies.
• Reports outcomes at engineering meetings and participates in program reviews.
• Provides guidance to staff on difficult engineering problems and leads teams.
