Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelors, masters, or PhD in engineering or related technical discipline and 4+ years with a bachelor's or 2+ years with a master's; substitution possible.
• Must have a basic understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory.
• Ability to follow and apply basic engineering knowledge, adapt standard techniques, and use diagnostics and equipment safely.
• Able to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in evolving environments.
• Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills for documentation and presenting results.

Responsibilities

• Performs updating, configuring, repairing, testing, and operation of UAS, GCS, and related equipment.
• Assists introubleshooting, component removal and replacement, testing and documentation per schematics and instructions.
• Contributes to basic lab, experimental, or commercial equipment design.
• Executes a set of laboratory experiments or a complex laboratory function.
• Supports installation and upgrading operating system software in multi-user environments.
