Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is typically required with progressive engineering experience.
• Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them in evolving environments and tasks.
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to lead a team of less experienced professionals on semi-routine tasks.
• Willingness to work extended hours as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of advanced electrical components, equipment and systems for unmanned air vehicles.
• Provide solutions through analog, digital and power conversion circuit design with analysis and CAD modeling.
• Develop control schemes, analog/digital/magnetic/electric machine design and EMI; perform thermal analysis and packaging.
• Create and maintain production documentation (test procedures, BOMs, Interface Control Documents, Source Control Documents, design specifications).
• Provide field support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
