Job summary

Plug Power Field Service Technician collaborates on-site to maintain and service fuel cells in customer locations, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and upgrades as needed. Strong technical skills and customer communication are essential for success.

The role involves travel to customer sites, handling on-call support, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks while representing Plug Power professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• On-call and emergency support for customers as required.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for service as required.
• Communicate with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and field documentation.
