Job summary

GFiber is seeking a Technical Operations Manager specializing in OSP Engineering to lead the FTTH network design, permitting, and project execution. You will work with the Network Deployment and Operations team to ensure engineering practices meet standards across SFUs, MDUs, and SBUs.

You will coordinate with the OSP network team on project activities, progress, and financial reporting, and manage vendor production to ensure compliance with scopes of work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing scalable outside plant projects, FTTH or outside plant engineering.
• Experience with fiber optic network infrastructure, engineering design and construction.
• Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and ESRI.

Responsibilities

• Support the Network Deployment and Operations team by managing engineering practices of GFiber’s OSP FTTH network.
• Oversee design and permitting for SFUs, MDUs, and SBUs; coordinate with OSP network team on project activities and financial reporting.
• Interface with OSP network team to coordinate project engineering activities, progress and financial reporting, and change management.
• Manage production with vendors to ensure adherence to guidelines and standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute network designs seamlessly.
