Job summary

WOW! is seeking a Field Service Technician – FTTH to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber-optic services for residential and business customers.

This role is hands-on, customer-facing and involves working in the field to bring fast, reliable fiber internet to customers. You will perform installations, repairs, and diagnostics, explain technical information clearly to customers, and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FTTH installation and termination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic cable splicing and testing.
• 1–2 years of broadband communications experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair FTTH broadband networks from customer equipment to exterior fiber terminal.
• Complete connections, upgrades, disconnections, and service changes for internet, phone, and video.
• Install/relocate outlets and interior/exterior wiring; connect equipment; ensure service operation.
