Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Conroe, TX is seeking a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care, while maintaining proper records.

Requirements include 21+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of state-required training; must be compassionate, a good team player, able to communicate effectively, and pass health and background checks.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and training as required by State regulations.
  • Must demonstrate compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
  • Must meet health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, incontinence care).
  • Keep proper care records and report changes in residents' conditions.
  • Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
