Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant in Conroe, TX. You will provide direct care to residents, helping with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

The role requires sensitivity to residents’ needs, reliable teamwork, and clear communication with families and staff. Applicants must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete state-required training, and pass health and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of state-required training.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep care records up to date and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.

Details about the Caregiver/Resident Assistant position we are hiring for:

As a Caregiver/Resident Assistant you will provide direct care assisting residents in their daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care. Additional tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in resident’s conditions, interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
