Meridian Senior Living in Orlando is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily upkeep and safety of our community. This part-time role entails 20 hours per week, three days, assisting the Maintenance Director to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of relevant experience, compassion for the elderly, and solid communication and organizational skills. A valid driver's license is required and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience (1+ years preferred).
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must have valid driver license.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the community is safe for residents and staff.
• Keep the community attractive and well maintained within the maintenance budget.
• Support routine maintenance tasks and basic repairs as directed.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to address issues promptly.
