Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/Resident Assistant in Orlando, FL. You will provide direct care to residents, helping with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in a compassionate, respectful environment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team across shifts, including weekends. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure high standards of resident care.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older and able to pass background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, state training may apply.
• Experience caring for elderly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Position residents, assist mobility and incontinence care as needed.
• Maintain care records and report changes to supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Uphold confidentiality and residents' privacy; adhere to health requirements.
