Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an Assistant FSQA Manager in Anacortes to lead site QA activities and safeguard product safety and regulatory compliance. You will work with the FSQA Manager to drive continuous improvement across QA programs and ensure audits are successful.

The role requires coaching QA staff, coordinating with production and maintenance, and maintaining audit-ready records. A background in HACCP and hands-on QA leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in QA in food production.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
• HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA team with daily direction, training, and coverage.
• Ensure shipped products meet specs, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Perform audits of GMPs, sanitation, labeling, and FSQA programs.
• Verify CCPs and process controls; escalate deviations.
• Integrate FSQA with production, sanitation, maintenance, and shipping.
• Monitor quality performance, COPQ, FPQ, and incident trends.
• Support PIN awareness and cross-functional audits.
• Train site personnel on HACCP, QA protocols, and audit readiness.
