Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an Assistant FSQA Manager to support site food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness at the Anacortes operation.

In collaboration with the FSQA Manager, you will ensure finished products meet company and regulatory standards, drive continuous improvement of QA programs, and guide the QA team to maintain audit-ready records and effective controls across production, sanitation, and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in QA in food production.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field preferred; HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises QA team members and provides coaching under the FSQA Manager.
• Ensures shipped products meet specs, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs audits of GMPs, sanitation, pest control, labeling, and FSQA programs.
• Verifies CCPs and process controls; escalates deviations.
• Integrates FSQA with production, sanitation, maintenance, and warehouse.
• Supports audits and corrective actions with objective evidence.
