Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking an Assistant FSQA Manager to support site food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness at the Anacortes operation. You will help ensure finished products meet requirements and drive continuous improvement in QA programs.

You will coach QA staff, coordinate with production and maintenance, and participate in internal and external audits to ensure timely corrective actions and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in food production or the seafood industry.
• Experience leading QA teams and ensuring GMP and HACCP compliance.
• Ability to prepare and respond to audits, CAPAs, and regulatory requests.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, and supports Quality Assurance team members in conjunction with the FSQA Manager.
• Ensures shipped products meet specifications, GMP and food safety requirements.
• Performs audits for GMPs, sanitation, labeling, and internal FSQA programs.
• Verifies CCPs, PRPs, process controls, and FPQ; escalates deviations per protocol.
• Maintains cross-functional awareness with production, maintenance, warehousing, and shipping.
