Job summary

ShopRite in Toms River, NJ seeks a Frozen Department Manager to direct all functions and lead associates toward sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals. You will oversee safety, presentation, and efficiency while maintaining department standards and training new staff.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Frozen Department.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals and provide staffing as needed.
• Maintain safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency standards.
• Ensure proper safety and compliance with company policies and regs.
• Maintain cleanliness, stocking, pricing, and displays in the department.
• Provide customer service and respond to customer needs promptly.
