ShopRite of Manahawkin in Manahawkin, NJ 08050 is seeking a Frozen Manager to direct the Frozen Department and its associates to achieve sales, customer experience, and engagement goals under the Store Manager’s direction.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and safety compliance, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work varied shifts in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to stand/walk for scheduled shifts.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs; frequent lifting of 25 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and processed products without allergic issues.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Able to climb ladders to access overhead storage.
• Strong customer service and friendly interaction with customers.
• Team-oriented with ability to cooperate with others.
• Flexible to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies.
• Able to lead and engage associates to reach department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Frozen Department functions and staff to meet sales, profit, and customer experience goals.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the department.
• Lead and develop department associates; promote teamwork and excellent service.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and display standards in the frozen area.
• Oversee equipment operation and safe handling of products.
• Coordinate with store management on scheduling and performance.
