Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Relationship Banking Representative to deliver a consistent, customer-centric banking experience across teller and desk duties. You will educate customers on products, digital tools, and financial wellbeing while upholding security standards.

The role emphasizes listening to customer needs, guiding transactions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely resolutions and excellent service across branches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Internal product knowledge, teller, and platform training preferred.
• Ability to attend a 5-7 day initial training program; travel may be involved; company covers travel expenses.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming, professional customer experience in the lobby and guide the in-branch journey.
• Build trust by listening, asking questions, and understanding financial needs and goals.
• Process everyday banking transactions and routine inquiries accurately; open/close accounts and initiate wire transfers.
• Assist customers with balance issues, debit card concerns, and service requests; coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Manage customer flow and scheduling to optimize wait times.
