You will be on the front line for creating a positive patient experience while gathering information for accurate registration and handling payment-related needs.

You will verify demographics and insurance, collect patient responsibilities, provide price estimates, and coordinate with providers and payers.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-desk or patient access roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, payers, and providers to gather information for accurate registration including medical record number, referrals, and authorization.
• Receive and route messages; manage billing and payment inquiries.
• Manage patient check-in/out, verify identity, update demographics, and confirm insurance coverage.
• Provide price estimates and discuss financing options including financial assistance.
• Proactively address customer service issues and involve leadership when needed.
• Support clinical care staff as part of the patient care team.
