Job summary

You will hire, coach, train, evaluate, and develop staff while managing administrative functions and ensuring compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months supervisory or lead experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to coach and develop staff and manage performance.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and leads related initiatives.
• Oversees hiring, coaching, performance reviews and staff scheduling.
• Plans and directs daily operations and ensures safe sortation of packages.
• Assigns employees to optimize safety, cost and quality across the facility.
• Analyzes performance metrics and implements improvement plans.
• Leads daily meetings to communicate updates and goals.
• Develops safety and training programs and mentors junior supervisors.
• Adapts quickly to changing business needs with professional leadership.
