Golden Valley Electric Association in Fairbanks, AK seeks a Member Services Representative I – Frontline to serve as a primary contact for members, helping with account setup, payments, and billing questions. You will process connect/disconnect orders, assist with electronic billing, and maintain confidential information while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires a strong customer service background, good communication, and the ability to stay professional under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Two years’ experience working in a direct customer service related capacity in a service industry.
• At least one year of cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for members, assisting with account setup, payments, billing questions, service requests and general cooperative information.
• Process connect and disconnect orders and manage electronic billing and payment systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential member account information and assist during outages or disconnects with options.
• Support members during high-stress situations with professionalism and clear communication.
