Golden Valley Electric Association is seeking a Member Services Representative I – Frontline in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will be the primary contact for members, helping set up accounts, process payments, explain usage and billing, and handle service questions with professionalism and care.

The role requires a strong customer service background, good communication, and cash handling experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Experience handling payments and cash balance tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for members, assist with account setup and billing questions.
• Process connect/disconnect orders and electronic payments; maintain accurate account information.
• Assist members in person and by phone; provide accurate information during outages and service questions.
