Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking a Medical Scribe to document patient visits in real time alongside physicians in outpatient settings. You will record patient histories, exams, test results, and prescriptions to support doctors so they can focus on patient care.

No prior experience is required; paid training through Scribe University, mentorship, and hands-on clinical instruction are provided. Multiple shifts available, with full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Irrespective of prior healthcare experience, training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
