Job summary

ScribeAmerica, a HealthChannels, LLC company, is seeking medical scribes to work alongside doctors, documenting patient visits in real time. You’ll use EHR systems to record histories, exams, and treatments while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate charting.

No experience required—we’ll train you through Scribe University. We offer flexible full-time and part-time shifts across multiple locations, with hands‑on clinical exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM and good communication skills.
• Fluent in English with strong listening abilities.
• Flexible schedule availability to cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
